Chongqing Shineray Automobile Co. Ltd, the light commercial vehicle specialist, entered into the Bangladesh market in 2005 with its first passenger van that had been designed and developed in Japan. The company was incorporated with an investment of CNY 1.5 billion with two Chinese giants Brilliance Auto and East Shineray Holdings Co. Ltd, having stakes in it. The company has its headquarters in Chongqing and it’s factory in Mianyang - the latter a modern establishment measuring 800,000 square meters. The factory meets International standards and is accredited by the ISO 9001 and ISO/TS16949 certificates. A new factory has also been built in Chongqing to manufacture the mini pickups that went into production in January 2011. The annual production capacity of this factory is 150,000 units. Shineray manufactures mini commercial vehicles (mini pickups: 800-1000kg and 6-8 seater mini passenger vans) as well as 800-1300 cc gasoline engine series. All newly produced Shineray automobiles meet China III Emission Standard (equivalent to Euro III). Some also comply with China IV (equivalent to Euro IV) Emission Standard, and all are certified in compliance with the China Compulsory Certification. For further information see here         |
